Liposuction – what happens?

Contrary to what is believed, liposuction is commonly used to treat patients who are near normal weight and have firm elastic skin. It is not a substitution for weight loss. Areas that are more commonly treated are the thighs, hips and buttocks, stomach, neck and upper arms, liposuction will also be used during a buttock lift surgery. Liposuction – what’s involved and how do I book a consultation?

Like any plastic surgery, recovering from Liposuction will vary depending on the extent of your surgery; you may be able to have the procedure as a day patient. Our after-care team will make sure you have the correct pain relief medication once the anaesthesia wears off.
